Preparation :

This activity requires paper and pencils, or can use objects like pennies or matchsticks.
Procedure :
Any of the above patterns can be used to play Nim.
Two players alternately take off, or cross off 1, 2 or 3 dots, lines, or matches
from any one group in the playing pattern.
The player, who takes off the last dot, line, or match, wins.
