In the middle of a lake grows one beautiful water-lily.
The number of water-lilies in the lake doubles every day.
After exactly 30 days the lake is completely covered with water lilies.
After how many days will half of the lake be covered by water lilies?
Because the number of water lilies doubles every day
and the lake is totally covered after 30 days,
half of the lake will be covered one day before that, or 29 days.
